Anyone who has watched TV’s The Big Bang Theory knows collecting comics is a serious business.

Like the Big Bangers, Caboolture’s Ray Penshorn has a fondness for classic Marvel and DC comics, originating in the US.

But Mr Penshorn also flies the Australian flag, prizing titles such as Ginger Meggs, Devil Doone and Witchetty’s Tribe.

My daughter Grace and I met you at the Coffs Harbour  cartoon workshop you held.
since then her interest in drawing has grown and she is getting better
She has even started a  collection of all  Ginger Meggs things
and clips your cartoon from the paper every week.
Her school had a dressup day for book week, and she decided to go as Ginger Meggs
this is her below
 
Thanks for the great workshop it really gave her the confidence and inspiration to get drawing.
