2011 JAMES KEMSLEY MEMORIAL CRICKET MATCHThe 4th annual Kemsley Memorial Cricket Match otherwise known as the GINGER MEGGS XI vs the GREENWICH GOOD GUYS, is to be held on Sunday 13th November 2011. This match is in memory of the late James Kemsley (1948-2007) who died 3 years ago from Motor Neurone Disease. James was the artist for the Ginger Meggs cartoon. As part of this event a “Kemsley Scholar”, an up and coming cricketer from Chevalier College is sponsored for a Bradman Coaching Clinic / Camp. Former Kemsley Scholars include Dominic Chandler in 2008 and Liam Andersen in 2009.
